Bank Job
When Vancouver Social Services tell foster parents Joseph and
Janice Hardy that they must install another bathroom in their old
house - or lose two of their four foster children, the financial
problem seems insoluble. A new bathroom would cost $10,000, which
Mr. and Mrs. Hardy simply do not have. So will teenagers Nell,
Billy and Tom, and nine-year-old Lisa, have to split up and leave
the home and foster parents they have grown to love so much?
Then 14-year-old Billy has an idea: there is plenty of money in
the local banks. Why don't they just rob a few of them? Before long
Nell, Billy and a reluctant Tom, "The Three Musketeers", are
following the example of Robin Hood: robbing the rich to help the
poor.
